Land Rover 80" Series 1 1950 RHD Softtop - RESTORED - SOLD
Landrover 80" "Light behind grille" model. Had a full restoration about 30 years ago but only very little used since then. Stood for over 20 years and now fully recommisioned with a light restoration. This included dismantling to rolling chassis; no welding required; everything cleaned. Brakes reconditioned; new brakehoses; gearbox rebuilt; engine decoked; valves regrinded; new head gasket; valve stem seals; new seals; new exhaust; Michelin XCL 650x16 tyres; new respray in Deep Bronze Green; new hood; new seats + rear benches; new door seals etc.
Very original vehicle and restored to original specification. Original gearbox and axles; original 1,6ltr engine is replaced with a 2,0ltr siamese bore (from 1952) during it's live. This car is restored to factory correct specification.
Runs and drives very nice. Ready to use.
Not many like these available on the European market.
